A Once-in-a-Lifetime Total Solar Eclipse Over Egypt

By Private Yacht

July 25 – August 8, 2027 — our own private yacht, no other tourists, and 6 minutes 23 seconds of totality over Karnak, the longest anywhere on land until the year 2114.

This has never happened before, and it will not happen again

Egypt is about to go dark at 1
o'clock in the afternoon.

On August 2, 2027, the moon will pass in front of the sun over the Nile Valley for 6 minutes and 23 seconds-the longest stretch of totality anywhere on land until the year 2114. I've been going to Egypt for over 40 years. I have never been able to offer this, and I will never be able to offer it again.

karnak - the largest temple complex ever built, and

where totality falls at 1:04 in the afternoon.

Ours Alone

We chartered the entire boat, so
there's no one on it but us

The Merit Star 2 is our private yacht -- a dahabiya, the traditional Egyptian sailing vessel. No other passengers, no other tour groups sharing the deck at sunset, no strangers' itinerary competing with ours. It's ours alone -- on the Nile, for the eclipse on the century.

Inside the Great Pyramid

PRIVATE - NO OTHER TOURISTS

Our own two hours in the King's and Queen's Chambers for ceremony and meditation -- the doors closed to everyone but our group.

Between the Paws of the Sphinx

PRIVATE - CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

An area the general public never reaches. We'll do ceremony here, just us, in the shadow of one of the oldest monuments on Earth.

Sekhmet Temple, Karnak

PRIVATE - NO OTHER TOURISTS

Our private visit to the temple of the lioness goddess -- our ceremony here will be deeply personal and absolutely unforgettable.

Where we stay: This trip is built around the Four Seasons First Residence in Cairo and our private yacht, the Merit Star 2, on the Nile -- five-star comfort in Cairo, complete privacy on the water.

Who's taking you there

This is my 28th trip to Egypt.

Richard's 11th

Debra Stangl

Founder, Sedona Soul Adventures

A trip to Sedona in 1999 transformed the course of my life. I've been leading journeys to Egypt since 2004 -- this will be my twenty-eighth time standing in front of these temples, and I still feel the same charge in my heart every time. I don't take people to Egypt to sightsee. I take them to transform.

Richard Kepple

My partner, in life, and in this work

Richard spent his career building companies in Silicon Valley before a health crisis reordered his priorities and brought him to Sedona and me. We got married in 2017, and since then he's been fully at my side -- as my partner co-leading Sedona Soul Adventures, co-writing "High-Vibe Relationship", and returning to Egypt again and again. This will be his eleventh trip. He knows these temples the way I do now: not as a tourist, but as someone who keeps coming back to experience these incredible places.

A word about traveling solo. Because the Merit Star 2 is chartered exclusively for our group, there's no way to buy a private cabin aboard the boat itself - solo travelers are paired to share. What you can do is add the Single Supplement for the Four Seasons First Residence portion in Cairo, so you have your own room on land even when sharing a cabin on Nile.

A deposit of $2,500 per person reserves your cabin. $500 of this is non-refundable. An additional $2,000 per person is due 30 days after deposit (no later than November 1, 2026), plus $3,000 per person for travelers who selected the Business Class Upgrade.

The remaining balance is due by February 1, 2027
