Debra went to Egypt for the first time in 1983 and it was a life changing experience. She returned again in 1995 and 2000, both times traveling as part of a spiritual group with the founder of Guardian Travel, Ahmed Fayed, and both times thinking that would be her last trip to Egypt. After founding Sedona Soul Adventures in 2002, Debra added group trips to Egypt as an integral part of the work of SSA and has returned each year since then, bringing spiritual pilgrims to experience the wonder of this place.
Debra Stangl is the Founder & CEO of Sedona Soul Adventures and the author of “The Journey to Happy-- How Embracing The Concept That Nothing Is Wrong Can Transform Your Life”.
Debra was a divorce attorney in Omaha, Nebraska for 20 years. In January, 1999, she had a spiritual re-awakening in Sedona. After moving to Sedona in 2001 and founding Sedona Soul Adventures in 2002, Debra developed the unique process of deeply transformational, custom designed private retreats for individuals and couples, utilizing the skills of over 50 of the Master Practitioners of Sedona.
