After an incredible week in Amsterdam speaking at Mindvalley University, Richard and I hopped over to Paris for a much-needed vacation—and oh my goodness, it’s been pure magic! Mindvalley was such a blast, but after pouring our energy into our talk and connecting with so many amazing people, we were ready to slip into “romance and relaxation” mode. And where better to do that than in Paris, the city where we spent our honeymoon?
We checked into La Clef Louvre, the charming little boutique hotel just two blocks from the Louvre, the very same place we stayed as newlyweds. There’s something so special about walking back into a place filled with beautiful memories—and then creating brand new ones in the exact same spot. Every time we stepped outside, we were greeted by those jaw-dropping Parisian streets, with the Louvre practically winking at us from down the block.
We’ve taken lots of lots of photos, but as I look at them, most of them are around me eating!

Of course, no Paris trip would be complete without dining at our absolute favorite restaurant, Le Grand Colbert. If you’ve never been, imagine old-world elegance, perfect service, and food so good it makes you close your eyes with every bite. Sitting there, surrounded by soft lighting and warm chatter, we felt like we’d slipped right back into the magic of our honeymoon.
We also packed in some incredible adventures. Versailles was as grand and breathtaking as ever—those gardens are pure perfection. And all the gold! You can completely understand the causes of the French Revolution!

We also went to Giverny, where Monet’s home and gardens are like stepping inside one of his paintings. The water lilies at L’Orangerie Museum absolutely took my breath away—it’s one thing to see them in photos, but standing in front of them is an entirely different experience.

And of course, we couldn’t come to Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower.
We had lunch at Madame Brasserie, high above the city lights, with views that made us pinch ourselves.

One of the most special moments of our trip was doing a private “closing time” tour of the Louvre. We wandered through the quiet, echoing galleries as the crowds disappeared, making our way to the Mona Lisa at the very end of the day. Pure magic.

We also took a little spin around the city in the cutest vintage Citroën, snapping quick photos of iconic sights like the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, and Louvre. It’s such a fun way to see the whole city in short period of time. It left us feeling like we were in our own little French movie.

One of the highlights was seeing the newly restored Notre Dame. The craftsmanship, the detail, and the love that has gone into bringing it back to life are awe-inspiring. It’s a reminder of the beauty that can rise from tragedy—a theme that resonates with me deeply.

No Paris trip would be complete without some shopping, so we headed to Galeries Lafayette, where the building itself is as beautiful as the fashion inside. And yes, we took plenty of photos—most of them of me eating, because truly, Paris might be the only place where every bite feels like a love letter.

Being back here reminded me why we fell in love with Paris in the first place. It’s romantic, it’s beautiful, it’s full of art and history, but it’s also playful and delicious. Every time we return, it feels both familiar and brand new—and every time we leave, we promise ourselves we’ll be back.
