I am so incredibly excited for our Return to Egypt tour, February 11-25. It’s going to be a small, intimate group and that’s going to make it so wonderful to have the amazing transformations that people have on this incredible journey.
Today (as I was writing this!), I got a phone call from a woman who came here for a Soul Adventure retreat in October (the day before I got married) and she suddenly decided “I have to go to Egypt!” I love it so much when things like that happen and people just decide – I’m going!
So how about you? Decide to come on this fabulous trip. And even better, we are looking for a female roommate. This is so wonderful because it saves you the $1250 cost of having a single room.
This is such an amazing trip. We see all the must see places you must go to in Egypt:
- The Great Pyramid (including 2 hours of private time just for our group for our special ceremony and meditation)
- The Sphinx
- Karnak Complex (built over a period of over 2500 years!)
- Abu Simbel (which boasts the largest statues in the world)
- The Valley of the Kings (where we have a special ticket to see the tomb of Ramses VI)
- Cairo Museum (including the Treasures of King Tut)
Plus places where the average tourist doesn’t always go:
- The Isis Temple at Philae
- Hathor Temple at Dendara (where we’ll see the original colors from thousands of years ago, thanks to Egypt’s 5 year program to clean the soot and dirt that has accumulated over centuries)
- The Temple of Abydos (I’ll show you where I had a past life – I wasn’t anyone famous, but it was incredible)
Everything is 5-star and everything is taken care of for you. One of the most wonderful things about this trip is that it is such a beautiful 5-star experience. Our hotel in Cairo is 5-star and right across from the Pyramids! Can you imagine being at the pool and looking up and seeing the Great Pyramid? Our 5-star hotel in Luxor is right on the Nile (I love eating their fabulous waffles in the morning as I sit gazing at the Nile!).
After that we’re on our 5-star Nile cruise for 5 days, cruising down the Nile and stopping at the temples along the way, such as the incredible Temple of Kom Ombo (where we’ll see the Crocodile Museum, full of crocodile mummies (the Egyptians worshipped crocodiles!). On our Nile cruise, you can have a massage (I’ll have at least 2), sip a cocktail on the sun deck, enjoy high tea each day at 4, and dance the night away at the Galabaya party (I’ll be in bed by 10, but you get the picture). They will probably also have a belly dancer.
But the best part is how absolutely everything is taken care of for you. Guardian Travel (our travel partners in Egypt) are absolutely amazing. They are a small, family-owned company and I have worked with them since 1995. They are known and respected throughout Egypt and they add an element to this trip that you won’t find with any other, knowing that you’re safe and taken care of everywhere we go. We’ll have dinner at the Fayed family home while we’re there — it’s across the street from the Sphinx! We’ll be there on the night we watch the fabulous Sound and Light Show at the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. And our guide Raafat, is so amazing. He knows everything there is to know, he reads hieroglyphics and he’s so much fun!
The shopping is always incredible, but with the dollar at a new high (vs. the Egyptian pound), it will be spectacular! When I first started going to Egypt, the exchange rate was 3:1 (3 pounds to 1 dollar). It’s gone steadily up since then and now it’s 18 to 1! Even though my house is full of treasures from Egypt, I’m already intending to get some new treasures — silk rugs, gold jewelry, alabaster (there’s a certain bowl I’ve had my eye on for many years!), Egyptian oils and perfumes, papyrus, etc.).
Change your life by going to Egypt. I went to Egypt for the first time in 1983. When I was in Karnak I heard voices for the first time in my life (in the 30 years since then, it’s only happened 2 other times). Some of the most incredible spiritual experiences of my life have happened in Egypt. I know of 2 past lives there — I wasn’t anyone famous, but both past lives have had an incredible impact on this lifetime. Plus this past year, I discovered that my husband and I had a past life in Egypt, in Karnak. He’s going on the trip for the first time, and I can’t wait to see what happens when we are both together again in the same place where we were together before. Wow! That just gives me goosebumps!
Let me address one other issue – is Egypt safe?
I’ve been going to Egypt since 1983, this will be my 18th trip! The Egyptian people are some of the nicest, friendliest, warmest people I’ve ever met in the world (and I’ve traveled all over). It’s so interesting to me, I always go to New York for a few days before the trip (that’s where we all meet – in JFK), and I actually feel more safe in Egypt than I do in New York! Every person who comes on our trips has always talked about how they feel completely safe (you can read about people saying that over and over again if you Click here) and how much they love the Egyptian people.
Don’t worry if you don’t have someone to travel with. All of our groups are typically in love with each other after 48 hours and many of them become friends for life. I had dinner last night with one of our SSA grads who went to Egypt with me twice, 2 years in a row (2013 and 2014), who lives in the Midwest and is in Sedona doing a few sessions. I love her and I always will, she is one of my Egypt sisters! These are the kinds of lifetime friendships that are made on this trip.
Don’t worry if you’re not part of a couple. This is one of the few years when there are no married couples on the trip. Everyone is a single, except for Richard and I. How funny, this will be the first time in all these years I’m finally there with a man!!
Don’t worry if you don’t have a passport. If you start right now, you can get one through an expedited process.
Travel with other like minded seekers. There is nothing more fun than being in an incredible place with other people who “get you”. It’s so wonderful to go here, connect with the energy and talk about your experiences with other people who are seeking deeper connections.
Enjoy ceremonies, meditations and deep connecting. Connecting to the higher vibrations is easier in Egypt, the veils are thinner there. And can you imagine having 2 hours of private time just for our group inside the Great Pyramid? That’s what will happen on the last day of this trip! This trip is truly transformational.
