The Grand Egyptian Museum has been open for over a year now — and after decades of waiting for it, I can tell you it is worth every one of them.

Every single artifact ever found in King Tut's tomb is there — over 5,000 pieces, much of it never displayed to the public before it opened. Statues, mummies, jewelry, chariots, up close.
