See Our New puppy!! Videos and a Song!

Debra Stangl & Beuaregard

We have a new puppy! Please meet our new little boy, Beauregard, our sweet little Goldendoodle puppy.

We got back from Egypt on Monday at 3am and got him later that same day.

Is that the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? It looks like something out of a Puppy Chow commercial.

richard and 3 dogs

This has all been so divinely orchestrated. Most of you know that I lost my sweet Golden Retriever, Daisy, just exactly one year ago. I have missed her so terribly, and just felt like if another little one was going to come into my life, that I would be open. When Richard and I first got together three years ago, we had three dogs and our sweet Katie Kat, and now we just have our sweet Labradoodle, Missy. Here’s Prancer, Missy and Daisy from three years ago.

Suddenly, a few weeks before we left for Egypt, we ran into Puma St. Angel. What’s so interesting is that I’ve known Puma for a number of years because she runs a retreat center outside of Sedona that does juicing and cleanses, etc. I’ve always felt a connection with her, especially because her given last name is Stangl, spelled exactly how mine is spelled, and for the past two years we’ve been trying to figure out how we’re related, because we must be with that unusual last name.

Puma with Bodhi

I’ve known Puma and really like her and her husband, Morgan. We’re not hangout friends, but whenever we run into them (which is usually because we all like to sit at the bar at Picazzo’s Pizza) we always enjoy connecting with them.

So we ran into Puma and it was strange because it was at 4:30 in the afternoon, a strange time to be at the bar at Picazzo’s…

After we talked for a few minutes, she said, “I’m getting a puppy.”

And we said, “Oh my God.”

And then she said, “He’s a Goldendoodle.”

And we said, “Oh my God.”

And then she said, “I think there’s another boy puppy available.”

And we said, “Oh my God.”

And then she showed us the puppy pictures and we said. “Oh my God.”

Bodhi Sattva

And then she said, “My friend Marla is bringing him on February 21st from Denver and she could bring both the dogs,” to which we replied, “We’ll be in Egypt.”

She then said, “He can stay with us until you get back,” to which we replied, “Oh my God!”

That’s Puma’s little boy.

Now, those of you who have been following me for a long time know that I don’t make a move with regards to my four-leggeds without contacting our amazing pet psychic, Sharon Loy, so that we can check in with how everybody is feeling. Luckily, Sharon was gracious enough to do an emergency session, because there was no way we were going to get a new puppy without getting the okay from our sweet Labradoodle, Missy.

When we began the session, suddenly Sharon said, “Oh my goodness, Daisy is right here and she’s saying, ‘I’ve been orchestrating this for the past few months and I’ve been talking to Missy about it for the past few months.’”

When Daisy passed last year, she told us she wasn’t “finished” with us yet and she said she might come back as another puppy to be with us again. I was hoping that’s what was happening, but Daisy told us she’s doing “important work on the other side” (don’t you just love that?) and that she doesn’t want to leave. She told us though, “You will feel my soul through the eyes of this little puppy.”

So that made it pretty easy to come to a decision – what are you going to do when your last dog is in Spirit telling you she’s just orchestrated your new dog coming in? You say yes!

Missy was already being prepared by Daisy for this and even though she had questions (“Will you still feed me first?” and “Can I lick his toys?”), she said yes and told us she will be very good at helping him to become a good dog.

So with everybody on board, we made all the arrangements and I now know everything there is to know about transporting a puppy on a plane. You can’t just buy a seat, there must be a person attached to the seat. If the puppies had been smaller, they might have fit in one bag that would fit under the seat, but they have to be able to easily move around so we needed two bags – that means two people. Luckily, Marla’s friend Stephanie decided to come. Thank you so much for all your help, Marla and Stephanie, we literally couldn’t have done this without you!

Morgan & Puppies

They picked up the puppies on February 21st and sent us photos. They then whisked the puppies from Denver to Sedona, where they stayed with Puma, Morgan and Beuregard’s brother, Bodhi Sattva (so we have two Bo’s!).I’m so very glad he got to have that extra time with his brother and now we’ll do play dates with each other.

It’s so interesting to me, Daisy had her brother, Boulder, living up in Oak Creek Canyon and we always tried to get them together, at least every month to play together. Now Beau will have his brother to play with – I love it. This is the two brothers out with Morgan on a walk to Oak Creek (that’s Beauregard in the front). They sent us this picture when we were in Egypt and we just melted.

We picked our little bundle of joy up this past Monday and fell in love immediately. We were already smitten by the videos and photos, but to see him up close and hold him, smell that puppy breath, and get your first kiss is just too sweet.

And Morgan and Puma did such a great job of starting his training, just in those 10 days – he’s almost housebroken! We’re crate training him and he’s sleeping through the night without going to the bathroom in the crate.

We’re so focused on all of his bodily functions that I actually came up with a little ditty that I sing to Beauregard and I thought you might enjoy it (my apologies to Verdi and sorry for the cold in my voice that I brought back from Egypt).

Bo & Missy

We are so happy with our new little one – Missy is a little jealous, but we’re loving her up, and we know she’ll step up and be a good big sister to her little brother, once we’re all adjusted.

So please send us your happy thoughts as we embark on this new endeavor. It’s so wonderful to have this whole new bunch of love that’s just automatically  generating! They are just pure love and it feels so good!

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE your new little puppy.
Very inspiring to have a new little one in the family!
P. S. Debra, I am always learning something new about you – you have an amazing singing voice. Do I detect some years of voice training?

Thank you for sharing your new love with me! I know how you are feeling
Because I have a wonderful little girl furbaby named DOLLY, she is 3 years old,
Bichon Frise.

Since I last contacted you I have received answers to prayers. I am now

Enrolled in Humana Gold Plan medicare and instead of paying $500 per month
for Medicare supplement like I did for 15 years; the new plan is $0 per month
And also covers hearing and dental, and receive all meds in the mail for $0.
There is an up front payment due for some things (like $35) to see a specialist.

Before the medicare change I sold my car 2009 Chevrolet and bought hearing aids
with the money, as well as, I bought a scooter to get around in the park where
I live. Thanks for listening. Love, Judy and Dolly

Remembering Kittie Cat and Daisy broke my heart. Then Beau put it back together again. Thank you for getting a new furbaby!
