What a wonderful surprise this week to discover that we were named to the 11 Best Couples Retreats Around the World. Wow! That’s in the entire world!!
When I was reading the article, I was struck by one thing – the thing that makes us so completely different from all the other retreats that are out there. And that is the fact that we custom design each and every retreat for each couple who comes to us and you work in private one-on-one or two-on-one sessions with our Master Practitioners.
Why is the custom design so important? Because each couple is different and each person within the couple is different. The wounds, hurts, and blocks that brought each of you to where you are at this point, are completely different than what brought your partner here. We spend lots of time speaking with both of you before your retreat starts, so we’re designing a retreat that is exactly what YOU need and want.
With all the other retreats, you’re working in a group of people. We have so many couples who come to us with really serious issues – infidelity, sexual issues, deep problems from their past. There aren’t many people I know who want to share all that deeply personal information with a roomful of strangers.
That’s why the privacy we provide is so important and makes such a difference in the transformations that happen.
In a group retreat (which is NOT what we do), they cover the topics of what they want to cover, and you have to hope they’re going to cover the precise issues you have. But even deeper than that – who is determining the issues you have?
In our private couples retreat, we discover in so many instances that the issues you think are the issues, actually AREN’T the real issues at all. There’s no opportunity to discover that when you’re in a group.
