I’m Engaged! I’m so happy [Pix inside]

If you’ve been reading my newsletter for awhile, you know that I tell you everything that’s going on in my life — and I do mean everything! Over the years I’ve had friends ask me if I felt comfortable opening myself up to the world and I’ve always said a resounding yes. I want everyone who comes into contact with me and with Sedona Soul Adventures to feel like they really know who we are.
So it is with great happiness that I’m sharing with you that my beloved Richard proposed to me last week when we were in Aruba. I was completely and utterly surprised.

He chose the perfect setting, a beautiful restaurant which is right on the beach. At sunset. We had a beautiful dinner, complete with a bottle of champagne (which didn’t tip me off, because champagne is my favorite thing to drink).

This was taken before he popped the question. I think Aruba has some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. Isn’t it beautiful?

For dessert they brought us their “Surprise Dessert” which had sparklers and I still didn’t think anything about it. Suddenly Richard plopped the box in front of me, gift wrapped, but it was unmistakably a ring box. I’m pretty sure my mouth popped open, while he started talking. I don’t remember exactly what he said, as I was busy tearing open the box!

But he said all the right stuff — I love you, I know we’re supposed to be together, I want to spend my life with you…

When he slipped the ring on my finger, I was astounded that it fit perfectly, and I remember thinking “how did he get the size so perfectly right?”.
Turns out he stealthily took the ring I wear every day and put it on his finger to get the sizing (he’s so smart).

Plus he had sent this picture of the ring to everyone in his family and all his friends, telling them he was going to propose to me when we were in Aruba. It’s a good thing I said yes!

Then he kissed me and I saw all these cameras flashing (everyone around us had been told what was happening).
Then he arranged for a dozen red roses to appear.
It was so beautiful and so perfect, a dream come true.

And it literally was a dream come true. It feels strange to say it, but I feel like I finally have experienced love. For the first time in my life. I feel like I finally know what everyone has been talking about all these years and singing about in all the songs. To experience that after so much time, is almost beyond my comprehension, and I feel so incredibly grateful and so incredibly blessed.
We are both amazed that we have found each other and we were just speaking about it again last week when we were in Aruba. During our time together, we’ve had readings with different practitioners here at Sedona Soul Adventures and we’ve found out about past lives we’ve had with each other, as well as information about the reasons why our souls have brought us together. In one reading we were told that it’s very important for us to live our lives in fun and excitement – we’re both up for that!
I see this as the ultimate culmination of what Sedona does. When I first came here in 1999, every part of my life was in turmoil. Since coming to Sedona, every part of my life has turned around. It truly is a dream that has now manifested into reality.
Sedona has changed everything for me. Could it change everything for you?
