I'm getting ready for my 27th trip to Egypt!
Yes, 27!
My first trip was in 1983, and more than 40 years later, I'm STILL fascinated by this extraordinary civilization.
I've now been to Egypt 26 times, and I'm preparing for trip number 27 in February.
After all those journeys exploring the pyramids, temples, tombs, and mysteries of ancient Egypt, you might think I'd have all the answers by now.
HA! Not even close!
In fact, the more times I go, the more questions I have!
And this year, there's something NEW I can't wait to talk about: extraordinary claims about ENORMOUS structures hidden deep beneath the second-largest pyramid at Giza!
Could there really be massive shafts and chambers beneath the Pyramid of Khafre? These claims are controversial and unverified, but they're absolutely fascinating to explore.
I've spent countless hours walking through ancient temples, standing before the Sphinx, studying hieroglyphics, and experiencing things I still can't adequately explain.
I think ancient Egypt was one of the most extraordinary civilizations ever to exist. Possibly even more extraordinary than we've been led to believe.
And I LOVE exploring its mysteries!
Who REALLY built the pyramids?
The traditional explanation is that they were built as tombs for pharaohs some 4,500 years ago. But how did the builders achieve such astonishing precision? Could these extraordinary structures have had another purpose? Spoiler Alert: I think they did!
How old is the Sphinx REALLY?
Most Egyptologists date it to approximately 4,500 years ago. But some researchers believe it could be thousands of years older. What if that were true? Let me explain why so many people think that is true.
Why are there carvings at Abydos that look like a helicopter, tank, and submarine?
I've stood beneath those carvings many times. Egyptologists explain them as overlapping hieroglyphs, but they still make me do a double take.
And here's the BIG question: What if an advanced civilization existed thousands of years BEFORE the pharaohs?
What if the Egyptians inherited knowledge about astronomy, mathematics, sacred geometry, and consciousness from an earlier civilization?
What if their magnificent temples were built not only for worship, but also as sacred spaces for spiritual awakening?
These are questions I've been exploring since 1983. And I'd LOVE to explore them with you!
