The Opal Jubilee
It’s been 24 years.
I keep saying that to myself and I almost can’t believe it. If anybody had told me back in 2002 what this thing would become, I wouldn’t have believed them. I really wouldn’t have.
For twenty years before I first came to Sedona, I was a divorce attorney. Let that sit for a second. I spent my days helping people come apart.
And now I get to spend them helping people come back together.
I went from divorcing people to saving marriages. From a law office to the red rocks of Sedona. From one woman who had her own awakening here to thousands — literally thousands — of people whose lives have changed because they said yes to doing the work.
And along the way? Egypt. Peru. Bali. Sacred places I never dreamed I’d stand in, with people I never dreamed I’d meet.
Isn’t that just incredible?
I looked up what the 24th anniversary stone is. It’s the opal. Iridescent — it catches the light and throws back every color. And it represents three things: hope, love, and trust.
I sat with that for a minute. Because that’s it. That’s the whole thing. That’s what these 24 years have been about — hope, love, and trust. So we’re calling this one the Opal Jubilee. 💎
A little something I have to share
I was recently named one of the Top 10 Inspiring Women Leaders in 2026. I’m not one to make a big deal out of these things — but I will say this: it’s really nice, and I’m grateful. And I could NOT have done any of it, not one single year of these 24, without every person here at Sedona Soul Adventures. Our Soul Guides. Our Master Practitioners. Our whole team. This is theirs as much as it’s mine.
And one more thing, because I know some of you have seen the news
You may have heard that “Sedona is burning.” I want to be clear with you: Sedona is NOT burning. The fire is in the national forest around Sedona — not the town, and there is no threat to Sedona itself. There are hundreds of firefighters on it right now, including multiple hotshot teams.
This is actually the third time in the 25 years I’ve lived here that we’ve had something like this. And every time, the crews handle it. If they’re on it, it gets taken care of. We are safe, we are open, and Sedona is as beautiful as ever.
So — 24 years. Hope, love, and trust.
That’s really what we do here. We help two people who’ve drifted into something that doesn’t feel like love anymore work with a team of expert practitioners to free themselves as individuals and come back to each other.
